Hofbraeu Festzelt

The Hofbräu festival tent stands out as one of the biggest tents at Oktoberfest and is recognized as the most internationally diverse. The iconic HB logo with a crown of the famous Hofbräuhaus am Platzl attracts visitors from across the globe. Decked with over a thousand pounds of hop decorations and featuring the angel Aloysius, the tent offers a vibrant atmosphere where people from all walks of life come together to celebrate.

Unlike other tents at Oktoberfest, the Hofbräu festival tent provides a standing area adjacent to the music stage for nearly 1,000 guests. This fulfills the wish of many attendees to enjoy their beer while standing. This area doesn’t require reservations, making it ideal for mingling and meeting new friends. Alois Altmann and his 25-member band, the “Isarspatzen,” have entertained guests at the tent for many years, ensuring everyone enjoys the festivities to the fullest.
