Kufflers Wine Tent

Situated within the vibrant atmosphere of the Oktoberfest in Munich, the Kuffler’s Weinzelt embodies a captivating blend of heritage and contemporary hospitality. Since 1984, under the ownership of the Nymphenburg Sektkellerei and now under the guidance of Doris, Roland, and Stephan Kuffler, the Kufflers wine tent has remained an emblem of tradition. It serves as a venue custom for wine enjoyment at the festival, a tradition dating back to 1885.

Renowned for its unique ambiance, the current iteration of Kuffler’s Weinzelt, introduced in 2005, showcases a distinctive architectural design. Combining the charm of a Franconian vineyard with the grandeur of century-old wood, the tent is a prominent venue within the fairground. It is located at the forefront and offers attendees a direct way to the majestic Bavaria statue.

Kuffler’s Weinzelt at Oktoberfest in Munich is a popular spot with room for 2500 people. Inside, 1,920 folks can sit comfortably; there’s an additional space for 580 people outside. This means there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy beer and wine indoors or in the open air.

The Traditional Delicacies to Relish 

The Weinzelt attracts guests not only for its selection of wine, Prosecco, and inviting ambiance but also for its rich culinary offerings. Catering to discerning palates, the extensive menu has a remarkable option of dishes, showcasing culinary excellence in diverse flavors. Drawing from the esteemed Kuffler restaurants in Munich, it presents a fusion of Bavarian specialties from Haxnbauer, seafood delicacies from Seehaus in the English Garden, and exotic treats like shrimp from Mangostin Asia restaurants. The menu includes alpine gröschtl of Semmel-potato dumplings with egg and a small mixed salad, Beluga lentils curry, and Creamy mixed creamy mushrooms as vegetarian options. The dessert entries include homemade Kaiserschmarrn, Bavarian cream, homemade apple strudel, and lukewarm pear crumble. 

Musical Specialty

In the vibrant atmosphere of the Weinzelt, traditional brass music takes center stage. Accompanied by the skilled musicians of various bands, guests are treated to a melodic experience that resonates throughout the day and into the late night hours. With five bands rotating performances from midday onwards, the entertainment is continuous and dynamic. The energetic performance of Blechblos’n has captivated audiences with spirited tunes since 1994. From the afternoon onwards, with musicians’ lively performances, no guest can resist tapping their feet or swaying to the rhythm.

Oktoberfest Tent Reservation

Booking in advance at Kuffler’s Weinzelt is strongly advised due to its high demand and distinctive offerings. The Kufflers tent operating time starts from 9:00 am to 00:45 am. Reservations can be conveniently made online. This streamlined process ensures attendees can secure their reservations for an exceptional and memorable experience.
