For almost 40 years, Heimer has been famous for serving traditional Bavarian recipes and the famous meal “Last Real Chicken and Duck Roastery.”

This small, cozy place helps you sit with your friends and family without any external noise disturbing you. This tent has kept the tradition of serving meals made with great care, preserving the taste of generations. For their comfortable ambiance, “Heimer” is known as a “Haven of Peace.” In 2017, a few positive changes were observed in “Heimer,” such as a personalized beer garden.

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM

Essential Guidelines for Visitors 

  • Payment Method: Cash is always convenient when visiting Heimer Enten Und Hühnerbraterei, as Oktoberfest is about exchanging cash. You may find an ATM nearby, but avoid waiting in long queues.
  • Getting In: It is better to reserve your seat in advance. If you need to remember the early reservations, look for the less busy hours for visiting. 
  • Dress Code: Oktoberfest is known for its traditional German dress, which includes Lederhosen for men and dirndl for women. 
  • Family Friendly Hours: Since music is prohibited in this small beer tent, you can sit with your family or friends and have fun conversations. 

Menu

This tent is known for serving the old traditional Bavarian taste with family-owned secret recipes. The elongated menu has the following; 

  • Chicken from the Spit & Fattened Duck – The slowly cooked chicken and duck on the spit is the highlight of the Hühnerbratere. These come straight from the skewer and land on your plat directly. 
  • Roasted Turkey Breast – The roasted turkey breast is served on tagliatelle with curry sauce and vegetables. 
  • Fried Chicken – The test Bavarian food, a portion of fried chicken is served on a leaf.

Beer Bar

Oktoberfest is known for its wine festivities, and here is what you will get inside the tent; 

  • Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest beer
  •  Paulaner wheat beer

Soup Bar 

A fascinating addition to the menu is the soup bar. You can always ask for “Soup of the day” to feel cozy inside the tent. The other two options are; 

  • Clear chicken soup with noodles
  • Large chicken soup in the tureen – Served with vegetable strips, chicken

Salad Corner

To provide you with a fresh and healthy edible option at Oktoberfest, these special salads are here; 

  • HEIMER salad plate with chicken 
  • Mixed salad may include Potato salad, tomato salad, cucumber salad, or celery salad. 

Vegetable lovers

If you don’t like chicken or ducks, do not worry! You will not die of starvation. Here are some vegetable options available; 

  • Quinoa kale strudel with tomato sauce
  •  Maultaschen with salad  

Bavarian Side Dishes 

  • Knödel (potato dumplings) 
  • Red cabbage

These side dishes are served with special homemade sauce (Duck Sauce) to give the traditional flavor of Bavarian food. 

Sweet Corner

Desserts after a full meal are a must, and this corner of Oktoberfest serves you Apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Or you can always ask for “Sweet of the Day.”

Heimer Enten Und Huehnerbraterei, one of the small tents at Oktoberfest, has approximately 346 seats in total. Because of this little space, you will find it crowded. Therefore, pre-book the space without music to sit with your friends and family and enjoy the conversation.
