Owned by Petra Brenner, Alexander Brenner, and Herbert Heilmaier, this small, cozy place is perfect for enjoying the Oktoberfest festivities. It is considered a melting pot for diversified audiences such as Munich residents, families, and international tourists; all are attracted to the traditional festivities.
Since 1906, this small family-run Oktoberfest tent has been a source of entertainment for 384 people at a time. The tent covers an area of Width of 12 m, Length of 33,20 m, and Height of 7 m.
The live music inside the tent begins after 5 pm by the Unterbrunner Haderlumpen band, creating an electrifying backdrop. Inside the tent, you will find tables for 6, 10, and 12 persons, so plan your visit accordingly.

Payment Method: Cash is always preferred to pay at the tent. However, you can bring your card as well.
Dress Code: Oktoberfest is known for its traditional dress. However, it is not mandatory to wear Lederhosen or Dirndl for visiting Heinz Wurst.

Located at Theresienwiese, Heinz Wurst Und Huehnerbraterei is directly accessible through the U-Bahn stations Theresienwiese (U4 and U5 lines) and Goetheplatz (U3 and U6 lines. Because of its location, it is easy to reach the tent.
Heinz Wurst Und Huehnerbraterei has space to entertain 384 guests. It is always recommended to pre-book the tent to avoid last-minute hassle. However, walk-in customers are also welcome during lunch hours to enjoy the tent festivities.
Reservations Rules
- You can book the table for a minimum of 6 people. For your reserved seat, you will get a voucher for food and drinks. And the voucher timings have to be followed strictly.
- If your bill exceeds the voucher amount, payment will be made through cash.
- Do not exchange the voucher for a tip.
